On Saturday we took a drive to Franschoek. The drive there was gorgeous and the little town has lots to do. We visited the monument, the museum, the shops, bought chocolate and had lunch. I feel like I want to go back and spend a weekend there in a cottage with an awesome view!

Yep, I love to go to markets on Saturdays (ok on Sundays as well). This Saturday I was at the SmallBiz Indaba at the Blue Bird Garage. It wasn’t just a market but it definitely had that market vibe that I love. It was all about people showing what their small businesses had to offer. I found it quite inspiring to see all these people trying to make a success of something they started themselves. Besides that, I ate too much food, got my eyebrows beautifully sculpted, bought perfume and a skirt. It was a successful day I say!

Yes, I went to Milnerton Market again and I took pictures again. This time I was really tempted to buy that huge jar of buttons as well as some vintage toy cars for my brother. I realised that I don’t need a jumbo jar of buttons and that my brother has probably outgrown toy cars. I did buy something that makes me smile when I look at it everyday. I’ll show you as soon as I take a picture of it.

On Saturday I popped into the first ever Favourite Things Market at Wembley Studios in Town. I’m a market addict so it was only natural that I went. There were only a few vendors so the market is still very small, but I am hoping they will grow. I took some pics of some of my faves at the market including Heathers Leathers and Bow Peep. I thought I’d share some random pics that I took at a farm stall near Stellenbosch mostly to remind myself to go back! They had the most yummy treats including those orange sweets pictured below. I sure do love my drives into the country.
