I’m extremely lucky to own both of these awesome funny looking cameras. I won the small one (Instax Mini 7s) via a competition on the Mr Price Blog and I found the big one (Instax 200)on Gumtree for R100! You probably know this already but these cameras are like Poloroid cameras meaning that the pics come out instantly after you take the them. They are so much fun! I highly recommend them. They take really nice pics and you don’t need to do much. It’s basically point-and-shoot. The Instax 200 takes wide pics while the Mini 7s takes smaller credit card size pics. The cameras and film are available at The Exposure Gallery. I usually buy my film from Ebay because it is much cheaper but of course you need to wait a bit longer to get it.

On Saturday we took a drive to Franschoek. The drive there was gorgeous and the little town has lots to do. We visited the monument, the museum, the shops, bought chocolate and had lunch. I feel like I want to go back and spend a weekend there in a cottage with an awesome view!

So, this weekend I was feeling a little sad because I have been in a clothing rut. I haven’t had much time for shopping and when I do manage to pop into the shops (online and in person) I don’t find anything I like. On Saturday I was driving aimlessly down Main Road and spotted a market at Baxter Theatre. I got so excited that I pulled over and practically ran to the market. OK, don’t judge me I know I am a market addict. I found out that it was the Blue Bird Baxter Market that is happening every Saturday from 12pm – 6pm. I really love the venue. The stalls are under huge trees and there is lovely green grass to sit on. So, what I really wanted to say is that I broke my clothing rut at this market. I bought two very pretty vintage dresses and a skirt. They all happen to fit perfectly. How’s that for good luck?
