Maxi and cropped

So, I am shortie and I’m not supposed to wear dresses of this length because they me look shorter. Blah, blah, blah. Sometimes we just want to wear what we feel like wearing and not worry if it makes us look a certain way. I’ve been taking this approach to dressing more and more these days. I have raised a few of my friends’ eyebrows but as least it makes me happy. Isn’t that what matters? On another note, I’ve always had a deep fondness for cropped jackets. I found this old one at the back of my cupboard. I still love it!

You know what I really like about this outfit? The sort of prairie girl aesthetic of the long gauzy skirt with the boots. Realllly love those boots. ; )

I have been wearing maxi dresses as long as I can rememeber and I’m quite short too but it’s never bothered me!
I have a new love for layering maxi dresses for winter.
