This little shop in Hermanus made me very happy. I don’t often get the chance to go to charity shops, but I spotted this one as we were about to leave Hermanus. It was such a joy to shop there. Everything was well organised and they had some gems! I managed to scoop up a pleated skirt for R10. I also bought and a tapestry set. Yes, I am into that kind of thing. I’m a programmer by day and crafter by night! How ridiculous does that sound!?

Bikini Beach Books on the beach front in Gordon’s Bay is my favourite book shop. They have a huge collection of second hand books at really good prices as well as new books. They have such an extensive collection that I always find many books to buy. It’s definitely worth a visit if you love books.

This is one overdue blog post. I took a unexpected blogging break, but I am back! I have been on leave for the past two weeks and it has been lovely. A lot of it was spent watching TV series and reading books. I managed to drag myself from under the covers and get out a bit. This outfit was worn on one of those days. Rueben and I took a long drive and ended up in Hermanus where these pics were taken. This outfit was comfy enough for a road trip even though I switched to flip flops after a while. I am wearing a skinny flare jeans I bought recently which I think looks more flare in real life. It’s quite a change from the usual skinny jeans, but I am enjoying them. They make the legs look longer and I need all the help I can get in that department. Last but not least, Happy Mother’s day to all the mommies out there!
