I love Kansas Couture

I’ve found some of my favourite blogs by the recommendation of other bloggers. I thought that it’s time I started to share some of the blogs I love with you. I love Katy’s blog, Kansas Couture. She has great style and knows how to put an outfit together. I find her outfits accessible and really inspirational to someone who is trying to dress for work everyday. Visit her at http://www.kansascouture.com/.

Booty Call

If you follow me on Twitter, you might know that I went on a frantic last minute shopping spree on Friday morning. I found what I was looking for but while I was looking I noticed that the shops are stocking so many gorgeous boots. It’s not often that I say this, but almost every shop had a pair that I would buy. Here are some of my favourites from Zoom. I am finding it very hard to choose just one pair. The top left and bottom right boots are giving me some very good vibes! Which boots are you liking right now?

Snippets of a kitchen tea

Some of you might know that my best friend is getting married soon. By soon, I mean Saturday. It’s so exciting! We had a kitchen tea for her last Saturday. The theme was Mad Hatter Tea Party and we dressed her up like Alice in Wonderland. Think bow, Peter Pan collar dress, pocket watch and bunny brooches! She was very confused as to why we were dressing her like that but she figured it out. It seems that a kitchen tea is never complete without a little embarrassment and I am not sure why! The sign she is holding in one of the pics below is what she held when going to neighbours asking for some cash to get married. She made 107ZAR, not bad!

One Cape Please

Winter is approaching and I am scared of how lacking my Winter wardrobe is. This is why I am on the lookout for some Winter gear. I definitely want to add a cape to my Winter collection. Now, I wonder if any of the South African shops will stock them.

It’s March already!

Where does the time go? February went by in a flash. I hope March slows down a bit. I know the days in which I can wear outfits like this are going to become less as March goes by. So, I will try to make the most of it! I really do love wearing a dress and a pair of sandals. I am already thinking of Winter clothing as I am sure most of you are. I’ll do a couple of posts about it soon. Anyway, back to the outfit. I wore this on a hot Summer’s day and I received a lot of compliments on the bag which I bought at China Town in Sable Square. It’s worth the visit I tell you.
