Hysteria by Trigger Models
In my previous post I showed you the outfit I wore on Saturday evening and I said I would show you the pics I took. Here they are! My friends, Wendy and Lenoray, joined me at the Trigger Models Hysteria Party at St Yves. St Yves is quite a lush venue overlooking Camps Bay’s beautiful beach. There were margaritas galore which were served by a lady that wore a table as a dress. The table dress reminded me of one of Lady Gaga’s outfits. There were also performers dancing in stilts which deeply fascinated me. I can barely manage to dance in heels! The highlights of the night for me was of chatting and dancing the night away as well taking pics of some very stylish people. It is often said that South Africans are very conservative dressers but I think this is changing. Have a look at the guy wearing the necklace, that’s definitely not conservative!

I don’t know if this is PC to say, but it seemed to me like the black South Africans were always really on top of exploring different colours and shapes and textures, at least the ones I knew/saw. The white South Africans dressed like boring Europeans. Could be the Joburg scene though!
That table dress does resemble something lady gaga might done. A neat way to serve drinks though. Looks like a fun party all around
