Christmas Crafts

I snapped some pictures of the Christmas inspired crafts at the Spier Craft Market. I liked this little market where the crafts are made mostly by previously disadvantaged communities in South Africa. I bought a mosaic heart. Aren’t they gorgeous? I am always amazed at the creativity and hard work that goes into making crafts available at markets such as these.

These are just too precious… I love the fact that they have taken such an african twist! It’s one of the great joys of being here – we have a sunny christmas!!!!
Handmade christmas decorations are the best. Much more personal. I am a bit slack the the xmas card sending these days. Emailing/facebooking xmas messages is a bit of a lazy way to go these days.
