On Saturday some friends and I quite spontaneously decided to have lunch in Stellenbosch. As we drove closer to our destination I already felt myself relaxing while looking at the beautiful views. We had a delicious lunch and then explored a little. Unfortunately we arrived when many shops were already closed, ie. 2pm. I found this weird but the highlight of my day was walking through the tree-lined streets and admiring the architecture. I don’t know much about architecture but I really appreciate the beauty of it.

All these pictures were taken at my favourite buildings of the day. Each was very different and beautiful in their own way. To the people living in Stellenbosch, you’re very lucky. I would love to enjoy this little town everyday.

I could not help but blog about these new brooches, necklaces and rings by Genevieve Motley. I am in love with them! I already own a brooch and earrings which I posted about here, but I’m going to have to order a few of these designs right now! If you didn’t know, Genevieve is a jewellery designer from Durban who makes the most beautiful pieces out of wood and perspex. How cute are those owls?
