A bit of improvisation

I decided a while ago that I wouldn’t buy anything new so that I could save the shopping for Thailand. This was hard to stick to but I managed to do very well. I attended a wedding on Saturday and finding something to wear was particularly tricky. It was a Muslim wedding and I found that most of my dresses were too casual or showed too much flesh for my liking. I had to improvise a bit so I could avoid an emergency dress hunt on Saturday morning. I wore this polka dot Jay Jay’s dress which is quite casual and used the cropped jacket to make it more formal. The heels and clutch definitely glammed it up significantly. I was happy with the end result and so relieved that I didn’t have to break my no shopping rule.
