Shopping with me
Today was a quite a busy admin-filled day for me. When the paperwork and queuing was done I did some light shopping. I thought I’d share some of my buys and almost buys with you.
I found two dresses that fit very nicely. I think fit is extremely important. If something does not fit right then it can be very uncomfortable to wear. I also bought a pair of wedges. I’m looking forward to wearing these when Spring arrives, but will layer them up if I have to wait too long!
I surprised myself today because I shopped at Ackermans and Bata which I don’t usually do. It shows that you can overlook no shop as it might surprise you. Below are three dresses I fitted on but didn’t buy. They are lovely, but the fit was slightly out for me.
I wore a very comfy and simple outfit while running errands and shopping. Even though the outfit is plain, it’s still very me. I think it is very important to embrace your own style as much as possible because it makes you feel more you. Hope that makes sense!
I hope you enjoyed shopping with me!
Furthermore, I would like to thank everyone who voted for me for the SA Blog Awards. Your support and effort is great appreciated! My blog was not shortlisted this year but I will definitely try again next year! Also, thanks for all the amazing comments and questions you left for Aisa. I will send those questions off to her ASAP. One last thing, I will announce the giveaway winner tomorrow(Friday). Only a few more hours left to enter!
Have a stunning weekend! I have a feeling it’s going to be a good one.

I love the combination of black and white
You always look awesome! Whether just plain or dolled up! LUuurve that polka dot dress!
You seem to be having a stripes and floral moment! I like those wedges, and they seem to be a reasonable height. I always found the majority of shoes in South Africa to be super-high. I even bought a pair, which I regretted as they absolutely crippled me!
I like your casual style, it suits you.
Ooh gorgeous finds!!! And I love your running around outfit. Mine is always a gray T and jean shorts!
Love your cute leather jacket! Great look!

Love that jacket!
Hi guys. Lovely comments as always
@Emily, I agree. I find lots of shoes are made without considering women’s feet! It’s sad really!
@Elle, it looks like we have the same taste! Agreed, Ackermans really surprised me too. I will be popping in there more often! Saw a lovely blue and white sailor dress, but it was not in my size. How sad!
I totally agree with your style quotation
it’s important to feel like you =)
btw the polka-dot dress is so cute
