My Winter Go-To
This is basically what I wore to work this Winter. On colder days I’d wear a coat for more warmth. I think I developed a kind of uniform when it came to dressing for work. This uniform comprised of T-shirt, cardigan, comfy jeans and ankle boots. Each piece was very comfortable as I basically have no dress code to work.
Just as I did when I went to school, I got bored of my Winter work uniform and I am now looking forward to warmer days which are coming slowly but surely. I’ve already started wearing pumps and cardigans with short sleeve tops. I definitely don’t want to create another uniform though! Do you also tend to create a uniform for yourself from time to time?

cute! what a great cardigan!
Love the gray!
I like the uniform!! Sounds easy and comfortable to me
This outfit is perfect! I love grey so much and its such a good color to match with…you look darling, girl. Love your blog!! x
I totally dress in a cycle of uniforms. I’ve been trying to work out how I can incorporate this and express it on my blog, because I actually find it really interesting when considering one’s ‘personal style’…
I like the crossover look of the cardigan. The owl necklace is cool as well.

I love the combination of grey, denim, and white. You have great style..super casual yet stylish look.
comfortable and cute, so perfect for winter! I really dig the slouchiness of your top
xx
love the wrap cardigan!
i also developed a pretty standard uniform for work during this winter- pleather long-neck zip-up jacket from woolworths and pirate boots from aldo.
the aldo boots have actually been a uniform staple for years, i think they’re actually in the process of their fourth re-heeling!
Love the wrap,You look gorgeous as usual!
xx
I love the way you have styled that cardi! Yes! I definitley do get into a “uniform” routine aswell! Winter was Woolen Dresses, thick stockings and boots for me! Layered with a coat and scarf for the colder mornings!
Loving your cardigan so much
Cool combination, so cute!

you look lovely Anthea, i don’t know what it is, but i am just so drawn to melange grey.. especially in knitwear – it always seems to grab me.
I have come to realise that jay-jays actually have some amazing items in store, and the quality is fantastic!

Oh man! I love that wrap cardi – actually I am coveting it rather strongly. I love your simple yet stylish approach to dressing.
I’m going to say this even though everyone else has commented on it… that is the most awesome cardigan I’ve ever seen! How on earth did you find it? You must post the story. If it doesn’t have a story, make one!
That’s a really great cardi!
And I’m guilty of creating a uniform subconsciously all the time ):
where is jay jays? love the cardi
Loving that wrap cardigan.

Great sweater!
Love Grace.
I see I am not the only one who has developed a uniform! I also see that everyone likes the grey cardi. I wish I had bought it in black as while. It is so versatile and can be worn three ways!
@Sarai, it’s not a great story I’m afraid. I was looking for a striped top and found one at Jay Jay’s. The cashier told me that if I took another top I could get a discount. This wrap jersey was the extra thing I took for a discount! I ended up liking this jersey more than the striped top.
@Fable, There is a Jay Jay’s in Canal Walk and Tygervalley. I think one is opening in Cavendish as well.
Love the wrap cardi Ant, stunning as always!
