Yes, I knit
Thursday, July 8th, 2010
I read in a magazine quite a while ago that knitting was “in”. I’ve been knitting since I was 8 and thought, “Finally!”. A lot of people say that fashion fades, but style remains. If that is the case then knitting is very much my style. Here is some snippets of a scarf I am almost done with.
I must say that people find it weird that I knit, but after reading blogs where people make things to sell and craft is more celebrated than berated I feel like I am in good company!
Have a great weekend!

I think that that’s really cool! I wish i knew how! I can sew but not knit! I hope you’ll post the finished product!
I’m already busy with knitting a scarf for 2 years. It’s getting dramatic, haha.
@Chantel, sewing is awesome! I plan to learn how. I will definitely post the final product.
@Sam, LOL!. I can relate I don’t even know how long I have been working on this one. I will need to some calculations.

@Fashion Fantasist, LOL! I have many unfinished projects laying around as well. Luckily, this one is almost done.
@Kirsty, I am very impatient as well! I usually knit while watching TV series. I am a fan of multitasking…always busy, busy, busy.

@Bianca, my gran taught me.

Knitting is fun! I want to learn all kinds of knitting! My mom is amazing, she can knit an entire scarf in an hour, she is so talented. Oh I’m going to knit something this summer
I wish I knew how to knit! It would be a great skill to learn! The scarf looks fantastic
Knitting has always been “in”! You just have to have the patience and time. Two things I wish I had at the moment!
