Finished product

All the sweet comments I received on my scarf post motivated me to finish the scarf I’ve been knitting. I am very happy with the end result. It’s very bulky and warm which is just what I wanted.
This scarf took me very long to knit! I kept on forgetting about it and picking it up for about two years. I became so used to knitting it and now I miss it! I will now move on to a needlework project that I have been neglecting for some time. Hopefully that won’t take as long.

hi anthea – very nice!! i wish i could knit… I was considering making a cardigan (go straight to the hardest thing you know haha) this winter but haven’t been able to motivate myself…

I wished I knew how to knit. I love yours! Beautiful.
Great scarf! I love making them as gifts for friends and family. I give you credit for making one in the summer – it always makes me so hot/uncomfortable to have the scarf resting on me when it’s warm out.
wow well done! it looks great =)
the last time (and only time) i finished knitting a scarf was like… 8 years ago? LOL i just don’t have the patience anymore!
I love it! I love big long scarves!!
Thanks to everyone for popping in. I’m glad you like the scarf.
@Bec, I am going to give knitting a rest for a while and move on to some needlework. I do still have a lot to try where knitting is concerned like cable knit or knitting with really thick wooden needles. I say go for the cardigan. You never know!
@stoneandcloth, yes it is! I like doing it while watch TV series. I wish I could crochet! I only tried a couple of times. I think I forgot how. Will you show us some of the things you are going to make?
@Chantel, hehe. Might take a while!
@Thando, hehe. I might have to work out my hourly knitting rate!
@Avalonne, yay! I can’t wait to see it!
@Style, She Wrote, me too! It’s Winter here in South Africa. I hope you’re enjoying your summer. I long for sunny days
