Wow! What a day! I hope your Monday went well. I went to a World Cup game today. It was quite an experience. I plan to write a post about it even though it is a bit off topic. An event like that definitely needs to be documented.

Now, back to the reason I’m writing this post. I discovered recently that taking drives to beautiful locations is one of my favourite things to do. I like the way that picturesque surroundings makes me feel. It’s very relaxing. It’s nice to take a time-out from the chaos of life.

On Sunday my boyfriend and I decided to take a drive to Kalk Bay to look at some of the vintage odds and ends. I enjoy going to Kalk Bay every now and then. They have great shops and there is such a relaxed vibe. It got very cold in Kalk Bay so we left. On the way home we noticed that weather was much warmer in Muizenberg and decided to stop at a bridge over a lake to snap some pics. I just loved the location.

I wore a dress, tights and flats. Definitely a comfy outfit to match a relaxed day. I was happy that the sun was shining as it allowed me to actually wear a dress. It has been extremely cold in Cape Town as of late!

In the months before this when I didn’t have a blog I posted some pictures of my outfits on Weardrobe. For those of you who don’t know, Weardrobe is a community where people post their outfit pics. I didn’t know that such sites existed but then in my naivety found that there are many. So far I’ve stuck to Weardrobe because I really like it’s simple format. Weardrobe has lead to me some really cool blogs that I would probably never have found otherwise.
